More Big Pictures…

Thursday 11th January, 2007

I finished making the Titus season one screen captures bigger. Click here to see any or all of them.

I prefer them the new size – you can see what’s going on a lot better. But of course, it’s no substitute for actually watching the episodes!

I’ll probably carry on slowly, until I’ve been through all the seasons.

The Bigger Picture

Saturday 16th December 2006

Check out the IMDb for details of a new TV movie with David Shatraw!!

IMDb.com

It’s due out in February 2007.

Also, I have finally started to go through the early episodes of Titus, and make the screen captures a little bigger and a little clearer. Here’s a link to Episode One’s pictures…

Titus Episode One Screen Captures

I hope you like them!

Mini’s First Time Screen Captures…

Saturday 28th October 2006

Mini’s First Time is now out on DVD, so I made some screen captures of Mr Shatraw’s appearance in it.

You can go here to look at them.

It’s always good to see David Shatraw in anything, of course, and he was looking particularly good in this movie. I just wish he had had a little more screen time. I timed it, and it was about a minute.

If you’re a completist (like me!), and you want to buy the DVD, it’s available from Amazon.com.

New Colour Scheme…

Friday 20th October, 2006

Well, I’ve given the place a new colour scheme. Most of it, anyway. I’m still working through some of the screen capture pages, but I’ll get there eventually!

Not much new content that I can find at the moment, but I’ll keep looking, as always.

And I’m reliably informed that there are new things in the works for Mr Shatraw, so as soon as I hear anything definite, I’ll put the details here!!

New (Non Titus!!) Screen Captures…

23rd September 2006

I’ve made some screen captures of an episode of The Suite Life of Zack and Cody.

The episode is called Volley Dad, and for a kid’s programme, it’s not bad at all. David Shatraw plays a very likeable character, and gets a good amount of screen time, and he gets to be funny, too.

He also gets a screen kiss, which is quite unusual! Coincidentally, he kisses Kim Rhodes. You may remember that he also kissed her in Titus when she played his girlfriend Tiffany in Tommy’s Girlfriend II. To see a screen capture of that kiss, too, click here.

The Final Titus Screen Captures…

12th September, 2006

Well, that’s it! The final episode of Titus screen captured.

The episode is The Protector. I’m not sure it was ever really intended to be the last episode, but I decided to do them in the order they were on the DVDs.

So now I don’t know what to do with myself. Luckily, there are a few movies coming up, plus I might screen capture the out-takes from the Titus DVDs (even though the picture quality is bad), and then I could always make some of the earlier Titus screen captures a bit bigger…

Penultimate Titus Screen Captures

24th August 2006

I have put up the penultimate set of Titus screen captures. From Insanity Genetic part 2.

It’s a good episode for David Shatraw fans, and great for a screen capturer like me! Lots of scenes where Tommy is the only person on screen, and you just have to see his rendition of the US National Anthem!!

Yes, it’s more Titus screen captures!

8th August 2006

I have added screen captures from one of the few remaining episodes of Titus. From the episode Insanity Genetic part 1.

Only two more to go!

New Photograph…

30th July 2006

I hope you’re sitting down because what I have to say now might shock you!

It’s not more screen captures! It’s a new photo!

I bought it from EBay last week, and it just arrived today. I had to do a bit of manipulation to take out the staple holes, but hopefully you can’t see where they used to be.

Imagine putting staples in such a gorgeous picture! What is the world coming to??

I’m afraid I don’t know anything much about the picture – I don’t know when it was taken, just that it’s a publicity photo that was at some time attached to a resume.

It’s great to have such a lovely new photo on the site, though!

You guessed it! More Titus screen captures…

15th July 2006

I have added some screen captures from the next episode of Titus. This time it’s the episode, The Visit.

That’s episode 51 of 54, so the end is nigh!

Yet more Titus screen captures…

1st July 2006

I have added yet more
Titus screen captures. These are from the episode After Mrs Shafter.

A good episode for David Shatraw fans!

Oh, and don’t forget to check out the
Pope Dreams website. The movie won an award! “Best Narrative Feature” at the Atlanta Film Festival.

You can also go there to see whether it is being screened in your area. No luck for Brits like me so far, but if it keeps winning awards, that can only help!

More new Titus screen captures added…

22nd June 2006

I have added some screen captures from the Titus episode Same Courtesy.

I think the first pictures are probably the most extreme close-ups so far!

I’m slowly working my way through Season Three. I suppose once I get to the end, I’ll have to find myself a new hobby!

New Titus screen captures added…

10th June 2006

I have added some screen captures from the Titus episode The Session.

As you may (or may not) have noticed, the screen captures are getting bigger.

That’s due to a couple of reasons.

Firstly, I have a newer computer, with newer bits and bobs, so the screen captures come out clearer.

Secondly, Yahoo suddenly gave me a ton more storage space. So I have room to store bigger pictures.

I’ve still only used about 2% of what they’ve given me, so I can see myself going back to the start and making all the pictures bigger!

Why I set up this website...

4th June 2006

Why I set up this website… That seems like the place to start…

Well. I first saw David Shatraw in
Titus, back when it was first shown here in the UK. I’m terrible with years, so I’ve no idea when exactly that was. I suppose 2001 or thereabouts.

Anyway, annoyingly, I tuned in to my first episode of
Titus just before it disappeared from the British TV schedules altogether. I must’ve seen about three episodes, and then it was gone.

But I still enjoyed what I’d seen of the show, and David Shatraw must’ve made quite an impression, because when his episode of
Oliver Beene came on TV, I made a point of watching it.

And that was it, really. He was just as gorgeous and funny as I remembered, so I started to try and collect all his shows and movies (I have a strong hoarding instinct!).

I made screen-captures of whatever I found (it appeals to that hoarding instinct, I think), and when I had enough, I decided to make a little website to keep them on.

And www.davidshatraw.com was born.
